Career History 

Appointed Interim Chief Executive of Ipswich Borough Council in December 2009 following the sudden death of James Hehir. Appointed permanently to the position of Chief Executive on 1 November 2010.

Previously Director at Ipswich Borough Council and has been employed at IBC since 1995 in a variety of roles.

A town planner by profession.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Dip TP, DMS, MRTPI
• Degree in City and Region Planning from University of Wales College, Cardiff
• Diploma in Management from Suffolk College
