Ipswich enthusiastically welcomed the Olympic flame in beautiful sunshine yesterday.
Thousands of people gathered along the Waterfront and outside the main UCS Waterfront Building to watch the Olympic Torch Relay arrive by boat.
It was a double celebration for UCS, as earlier in the day UCS student and football coach James Shiplee had carried the Torch through Wrentham.
