University Campus Suffolk (UCS) is working with Ipswich Borough Council to offer free advice and guidance about higher education.
UCS representatives will be in the Test Trading business incubation unit in Tower Ramparts shopping centre tomorrow to talk about all aspects of studying at university, including key questions about finance, courses and student life.
UCS will be hosting drop in sessions on the following dates:
-
Tuesday 20 September
-
Tuesday 4 October
-
Wednesday 12 October
-
Friday 21 October
The unit is upstairs in Tower Ramparts Shopping Centre, next door to Miss Selfridge.
UCS Student Recruitment and Marketing Manager, Karen Hinton, is keen for Ipswich residents, visitors and businesses to come down and meet the team: “UCS has a great variety of courses to suit lots of different people and we’re really keen to talk to individuals to explore how we can make higher education even more accessible for them.
"What’s more, with so much in the press about the changes to student finance in 2012 this is a great opportunity for anyone who is thinking about higher education to come and have a chat and find out more.”
The UCS drop-in advice sessions are part of a two-month business guidance event organised by the Council, which started last week and brings together a variety of local organisations who can help with education, apprenticeships, developing job skills, training and volunteering. The sessions began on Monday 5 September and run until Friday 21October.
