The UCS School of Science, Technology and Health has extended its postgraduate offering with the introduction of two new courses – MSc Regenerative Medicine| and MSc Healthy Ageing|. UCS has been able to reduce the cost of the courses to £5,400 from the original £6,700 and is also encouraging application for further bursaries.

These new full and part-time Masters courses focus on two key areas of interest and development for the School and will be based in the brand new James Hehir Building on Ipswich Waterfront. Both courses have places available this September.

Head of Division for Science, Dr Claudio Marelli said, “We are very pleased to introduce these new courses that deal with two of the most rapidly evolving areas of biosciences, responding to the future needs of our modern society. Indeed, regenerative medicine has been highlighted by Government as the number one future science job. We have been able to offer these cutting-edge courses at a competitive price and suggest applicants also enquire as to the availability of bursaries.

“These Masters courses signal an exciting new direction for UCS and the School of Science, Technology and Health, offering contemporary teaching, new research methods and practical skills in a high-tech environment to ensure future high employability prospects for our students. Both of the courses are underpinned by world class research at UCS and training is given by international experts from academia and industry.”
