Bloodmobile on a donor drive

Dec 7 2010 3:00AM

The National Blood Service parked up their ‘bloodmobile’ on the Plaza of the UCS Waterfront Building in Ipswich on Tuesday 7 December.

Nurses from the National Blood Service were on hand throughout the day to take blood donations and offer advice and information on giving blood and the impact becoming a donor can have on someone’s life.

A UCS Spokesman said: “UCS is proud to be able to offer this worthwhile service, not only to their staff and student body, but also within the local community”.
