Over 40 stands from a range of organisations will be taking over the ground floor of the Waterfront Building on Thursday 14 October between 11am and 3pm. The UCS Volunteers Fair is to be held at the Ipswich Waterfront building for those who want to find out about volunteering schemes in the local area.
The event is open to anyone interested in finding out about the benefits of being a volunteer.
Annabelle Richardson, Assistant Career and Employability Adviser at UCS, said: “Volunteering is of great benefit to the local community and is a great way of meeting new people too. It can also teach you skills that are invaluable to potential employers, helping you stand out in the crowd.”
